This is a private, wooded home on two acres with a natural New England lakefront. There is no sandy beach, and the walk to the lake includes a moderately steep hill. The shoreline is natural, so you'll find rocks, seasonal aquatic plants, and some sediment depending on the time of year. We do not treat the lake with herbicides, and that's one of the things we love about it—it remains a healthy, natural ecosystem.
We absolutely enjoy swimming here, and many of our guests do as well. For added comfort, we recommend bringing water shoes.
If you're looking for a resort-style property with a groomed beach, flat walk to the water, and manicured lake conditions, our home may not be the best match.
